Chilean death metal band Deathwards will release their debut album, Realms of Sin, on October 30, 2026 through Sepulchral Voice Records.
Rooted in the earliest and most uncompromising forms of death metal, Deathwards draw from the violent mutation of thrash and speed metal that gave birth to the genre in the late 1980s. Their approach is deliberately stripped of modern excess: sharp riffing, venomous vocals, untamed solos and a sense of danger closer to old underground recordings than to contemporary studio polish.
Lyrically, Realms of Sin moves beyond surface-level horror and instead explores guilt, lust, greed, wrath, heresy, fraud and eternal punishment through imagery shaped by Dante’s Inferno, biblical symbolism and medieval visions of damnation. The result is a work centered on spiritual collapse, divine judgment and metaphysical suffering.
The album was produced at Equinox Studio and is completed by hand-painted artwork from Jorge Olavarria.
