Iron Bonehead Productions has announced October 30, 2026 as the international release date for Cenotaph Severance, the fifth full-length from Australia’s Temple Nightside.
The album marks the band’s first full-length since 2020’s Pillars of Damnation. While retaining the memorable riffing and tightly controlled attack heard on that record, Cenotaph Severance pushes deeper into Temple Nightside’s characteristic union of ancient death metal, blackened atmosphere and vast cavernous space.
The current lineup also introduces guitarist Ignus Fatuus, known for his work with Portal, Impetuous Ritual and Grave Upheaval. The new material reportedly reconnects the band with some of the more bestial impulses heard on the early Prophecies of Malevolence demo while maintaining the more developed songwriting of their later work.
Cenotaph Severance will be released on CD and vinyl LP through Iron Bonehead Productions.
